Mercy Aigbe Is The 4th Woman To Have Kids For Lanre Gentry

Lanre Gentry, an American returnee who is into the hospitality business (he also sells cars) was said to have had three women, who all bore children for him before meeting and marrying Mercy Aigbe.

Though his first wife is divorced from him, he was said to have impregnated one Opeyemi Amuda, who had his first son, Lanre, for him.

Opeyemi, then a young girl was said to be a sister to his first wife’s friend. Gentry was said to have started dating the young girl who later became pregnant. His first wife had just daughters then and he named Opeyemi’s son, Lanre.

It was gathered that the boy is 18 years old, lives with his grandparents in Egbeda, Lagos while his mum is abroad and remarried with two other children.

Lanre, after Opeyemi, dated and married an Igbo policewoman who had also packed out of the house.

According to reliable sources, Mercy started dating him after his spilt from the policewoman and must have decided marrying him when he spoilt her silly with gifts and money. In fact, he was said to have gifted her with two cars (a Honda Element and Honda CRV) on the same day!
They were officially married in 2013.

Meanwhile, Mercy had always said in interviews that she was the second wife.

“How can she be the second wife when she is the fourth to bear children for him? He has children from different women and when Mercy had Juwon, Lanre called all his baby mamas that they should bring all his children to come and live under same roof with one another in his house but those women declined.

The many responsibilities must have also contributed to his financial misfortune because he is not as rich as when Mercy met him,” a reliable source said.

One of the reasons that caused fracas in his marriage to Mercy was infidelity from his part. It was gathered and alleged that Lanre was dating Opemititi, a young lady, who lives in Abeokuta but comes to Lagos regularly.

The lady also known as “Queen Stunner” was said to be very close to Mercy and visited her at home. There are allegations that the estranged husband of Mercy is having an affair with Opemititi.

For now, Mercy is said to have been separated from Lanre and moved out of the home.

APC Lawmaker Mohammed Gololo Attacked By Mob, House Ransacked

About one week after protesters attacked lawmakers and other public officials at a political event in Katsina, another lawmaker has been attacked.

Protesters disrupted a political gathering convened House of Reps member, Mohammed Gololo (APC-Bauchi), in his ancestral Gololo village of Gamawa area of Bauchi State.

Mr. Gololo, who is the representative for the Gamawa federal constituency, was on Sunday pelted with stones at the event he organized to distribute empowerment materials to his supporters.

His vehicle was damaged in the process as security operatives whisked him away, witnesses said.

A witness told PT that the windscreen of the car of the lawmaker was smashed by the angry youth who reportedly marched from the scene to his house to continue the attack.



Luckily for Gololo, he and his family had fled the house before the arrival of the mob.

I Have Slept With 2788 Men - Nigerian Lady (Video)

A Nigerian girl has left many people baffled after admitting that she has slept with 2788 men while narrating the story of her life. A video of her is already trending on social media with terrible backlash from social media users. However, it is not all what it seems it is.

The woman identified as Ifediba Oluchi Anne might have played on the intelligence of many by deceiving them with the video which she later clarified in a long post on her website that although she has slept with a good number of men, but it was not up to 2788.

A first look at the video might sound controversial as she gave no hint that what she said was actually fictional. Many people have attacked her for using such a cheap means to get attention and traffic to her blog. A number of people have attacked her on social media calling her different names and cursing the hell out of her life.

"I a whore!
When people ask me how many men I have slept with, I tell them “2708 men excluding women”. The look on their face is always priceless and they go on to give me a speech about how I have been useless all my life. Some of them go the extra mile to tell me to give my life to christ and retrace my steps so I can get married and have kids.

One time, a man told me I may not be able to have kids in the future as I had sinned too much and not kept my temple holy. I do find it funny that people are quick to shame me based on my sexual choices as a woman while cheering on a man who was the same body count as I do.

I grew up in a religious home. My parents attended The Lord’s Chosen and my mom was a fanatic for the church and its doctrines. The only sex education I got was one which relied greatly on abstinence. My mom would always sound it in my ears that I had to be a virgin. To her, virgins were entitled to a special kind of blessing from God and a sweet lasting marriage.

When I was 17, I had sex with a man who was way older than I was. He touched my boobs in the stairs and gave me gifts at every turn. I would admit that the situation which I grew up in didn’t teach me how to say “No” without feeling bad. It has taken me a good number of years to set boundaries and shun the things I do not like without being ridden by guilt.

After my first sex experience which should be considered as rape in every sane country, I went through bouts of emotional breakdown. I had done something which society frowned at and I needed time to accept it. One would expect that I would never repeat such action anymore but I only went ahead to have more sex and do all sorts of stuff mom and church told me not to do.

I never got any form of sexual education so you should know I made a lot of mistakes (which I love to call lessons) I am not a whore because I have slept with the fictional amount of men ( yes, 2708 men is a fictional figure) although I have slept with a good amount of people.

I am a whore because I talk about sex too often. A good number of adults in Nigeria are having sex but as long as they don’t talk about, it is fine. Nigerians talk about sex. They talk about how sex is like an exercise for men. They talk about how it is okay for men to have as much sex as they want while they tell women to keep themselves. They talk about how rape is caused by women seductive dressing. They talk about how any woman with more than 1 body count is not wife material.

They talk about how women privates can be used as a collateral for jobs and favors. They talk about how any woman who has had sex before should not cry rape if a man takes her against her will. As long as you talk about sex the same way they are accustomed to then you are fine.

For a while now, I have been talking differently about sex on Facebook. When Instablog9ja and other media carried one of my posts, people slut-shamed me. I have come to realize that slut-shaming is only offensive when the victim feels hurt. I do not feel hurt.I am a whore…I said it. I sleep with men and talk about sex shamelessly on my blog in ways that really matter."

EFCC to launch anti-graft programme in varsities

Mr. Ibrahim Magu, the acting Chairman, Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), said the commission would soon launch its anti-corruption programme in universities.

He disclosed this in Abuja yesterday on the sideline at the opening of a capacity building workshop on the use of beneficial ownership information and the recovery of assets in Africa.

Sun reported that, He said the anti-corruption programme would be similar to that of “Women Against Corruption.

“We are already talking with the universities. We are looking at starting with the University of Lagos and Ahmadu Bello University (ABU), Zaria, where we will launch the programme.
“There is something on ground to also reach out to the universities as student’s union leaders have disturbed me over issues in the sector.

“The National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) leadership visited me last week and this was part of their complaints.

“We assured them that we are going to join them and launch the anti-corruption programme and we need them too because we are protecting their future.”
Magu said that government was working with global partners to fast track the return of stolen assets abroad.

He said the commission was planning to clamp down on tax evaders as part of plans to bring succour to the economy.

“We are going to collaborate with the Federal Inland Revenue Services (FIRS), and set up a unit that will exclusively deal with tax fraud, tax evasion and related offences. We are going to see that we work on this seriously.

Former Minister, Prof Babalola Borishade, is dead

Former Nigerian minister of education, Prof Babalola Borishade, dies at the age of 71. He died in London on Wednesday after a brief illness.

He was initially rushed to Reddington Hospital in Lagos, last week from where he was taken to London. The cause of death was lung and heart –related.

Police Begins Investigation Of Officer Who Vowed To Kill 200 People If President Buhari Dies

The Nigerian Police Force (NPF) has said that it has commenced investigation into comments made by an allegedly armed Police Officer Inusa Saidu Biu on Facebook.

What Actually Happened Between Davido and Ice Prince – Shina Peller

Lagos nightlife mogul, Shina Peller has commented on what actually transpired between artistes, Davido and Ice Prince at an event in Warri, Delta, LIB reports.

Over the weekend there were reports that both artistes engaged in a fracas.

Narrating what happened, Peller said, “My arrangement for the concert was to have a tour bus, so there was no time when anyone had a saloon car. It was a tour bus which everybody was in including myself, my artistes, Lil Kesh, CDQ and everyone just so we are all together to have fun but along the line I found out that
Davido had some friends in Warri.

“Davido was in the same bus with us from the airport to the hotel, he used the same bus from the hotel to Quest FM where we went for an interview before the show. It was at Quest FM his friends came to pick him with a white G-Wagon, I don’t even know the owner of the G-Wagon. So he was in his friend’s G-Wagon from the radio station to the event venue so it wasn’t an issue at all.”

Speaking on reports that Ice Prince was aggrieved that he performed before Lil Kesh, Peller said he did not use any hierarchy in determining the order of performance.

“Now let me shock you, my artiste ‘Base One’ even performed after Lil kesh, so there was no superiority or hierarchy involved, I just wanted it to be a random event flow. The event even had two of my waiters at Quilox that sings I got them to perform at the show and we’ll still do 3 more of the event before the year runs out”.

He added, “When we were coming back to Lagos, it was Ice Prince that got to be at the VIP lounge, myself, Davido, Lil Kesh and others were outside in a shed with just a standing fan. Really it’s all one family everything is resolved now. The only thing that got Davido upset is the fact that he felt Ice Prince was being disrespectful to me not even to him because even Davido didn’t complain about any of the logistics issue it was Ice Prince that complained a little that’s all”.

GCE registration starts on Friday — WAEC

The West African Examinations Council, WAEC, has announced that it will commence registration for the General Certificate Examination (GCE) 2017 for private candidates
on Friday 28th April, 2017. The examination body disclosed this on its official tweeter handle, @waecnigeria.



A screen shot of the registration information was also shared in the tweet. It read: “This is to inform intending candidates for the WASSCE for private candidates 2017 that registration begins on Friday this week. “Candidates are expected to pay a registration fee of N13,950 at any of the approved banks or any accredited agents to obtain the registration pin and information VCD.

“Normal registration period is from Friday April 28 to June 28. After obtaining registration pin, candidates should log on to www.waeconline.org for registration. “Candidates should also note that the registration procedure has been designed to accommodate biometric features that will be used for validation at the exam centre.” “Candidates who wish to register for the exam after the close of entries can be accommodated as “ walk-in-candidates” provided they register 24hours to the start of the paper(s) they intend to write.

The “walk-in-candidates” fee is twenty five thousand naira, N25,000.” The examination body had in December last year announced that the private candidates examination formerly known as Nov/Dec GCE Exam, conducted once a year will now be conducted twice a year in January/February and August/September starting from 2017. Iyi Uwadiae, the council’s registrar who disclosed this while speaking to journalists at a meeting in Accra, Ghana, said the measure is to ensure that many private candidates, who desire the certificate for various purposes, will have the opportunity of writing the examination and acquire the certificate.

As a biblical teacher, let me enlighten you on some issues you raised.

Firstly, there is no such thing as a ‘biological marriage’. Marriage is a legal or customary institution, which has absolutely nothing to do with biology.
